Ilan Bluestone Proposed During His Live Set

Big moments happen for DJs and producers all the time. Maybe their newest song makes the charts for the first time, or they get to headline the festival of their dreams. But for Ilan Bluestone, he landed a deal that has nothing to do with his musical career.

Last Saturday, April 5th, Bluestone was performing his trance set at Dreamstate in San Francisco. Towards the end of the set, he finished in a way he never finished a set before. He had his gf, Anisa Alvarado, come behind the booth with him as he got down on one knee with the microphone and asked her, “Will you marry me?” With no hesitation, his girl responded with a “yes” and Bluestone landed the deal of a lifetime.

Bluestone is known for his production and ability to give the crowd a euphoric feeling. But it was Bluestone himself that was caught up in all the emotions.

“At the end of my Dreamstate set, right as my 40th birthday cake came out, I got on one knee and asked the biggest question of my life. I was nervous and had no idea what I was doing but she said YES!” Bluestone wrote. “To the love of my life, thank you for making that moment everything.”
