Eric Prydz Teases New Pryda EP and Six Upcoming Releases

Eric Prydz has officially confirmed that fresh material from his celebrated Pryda alias is currently in the works. The electronic music pioneer recently took to social media to provide fans with a long-awaited update, revealing an upcoming EP that will feature the tracks “Mygga” and “Modulation.”

The announcement arrived via X (formerly Twitter) after fans began speculating about the possibility of a massive three-album release. Prydz was quick to clarify the situation, responding, “Na. One EP,” while confirming the inclusion of the two highly anticipated tracks.

Beyond the immediate EP, the producer engaged his audience by asking for their preferences regarding the future of the Pryda sound. He posed a question to his followers: should he continue with the classic two-track release format, or shift toward four-track EPs? Providing further insight into his current workflow, Prydz revealed that he already has six new two-track EPs fully produced and ready for distribution.

“They will all come out eventually but will sound better on vinyl plus original concept,” Prydz noted, suggesting that the upcoming rollout may honor the traditional, curated approach that has defined the Pryda legacy for years.

Pryda releases have cultivated a dedicated following over the years, prized for their intricate progressive house arrangements and meticulous production quality. The track “Mygga” has already gained significant traction after being featured in recent live sets, further heightening anticipation for its official release.

While a specific release date has yet to be announced, it is clear that a substantial wave of new music is on the horizon for the Pryda faithful.
