Tomorrowland Consciencia Paintings Stolen From the Festival Grounds

Two original paintings created for Tomorrowland’s 2026 Consciencia theme have been stolen during the festival’s opening weekend in Belgium. This case of stolen artwork has raised significant concerns among organizers and attendees alike regarding the security of the festival’s immersive art installations.

The stolen pieces, titled ‘Love’ and ‘Desire,’ were part of a curated collection of six commissioned paintings displayed within the Tomorrowland Restaurant. Each work was designed to represent one of the six universal emotions that define this year’s festival theme. The remaining four pieces—Wonder, Anger, Joy, and Sadness—are currently still on display for festival-goers.

Tomorrowland officials confirmed that the paintings were removed despite the presence of security personnel in the immediate vicinity. The organizers have issued an urgent appeal for the return of the artworks, hoping that they can be recovered before the second weekend of the festival so that guests may experience the exhibition in its intended form.
