Sam Wolfe Hits Ctrl+Alt+Drumcode: “Control Delete” Is Here and Atlanta Is Shaking

Clear the floor and turn it up, because Sam Wolfe just made his Drumcode debut, and it hits like a freight train. “Control Delete” is the moment the Atlanta powerhouse has been building toward since he first broke out of the city’s underground in 2020. Landing on Adam Beyer’s legendary imprint is a rite of passage in techno, and Wolfe arrives exactly how you’d expect: loud, relentless, and built for peak time. The wildest part? This track almost never came out.

If you’ve caught Wolfe live, you already know the formula: big, aggressive, uncompromising techno engineered to detonate mainstage crowds. That sound has powered a dozen Beatport top 10 techno hits and a run of releases across heavyweight labels like 1605, Experts Only, Filth On Acid, Tronic, Revealed, Black Hole Recordings and Purified. Add support from Carl Cox, Adam Beyer, John Summit, Dom Dolla, Fisher, Solomun, Eli Brown, Tiësto, Hardwell and Armin van Buuren, plus collabs withUMEK, Teenage Mutants, Cosmic Boys and T78, and it’s clear why “Control Delete” landed on Drumcode.

But this one’s personal. To bring the track to life, Wolfe tore through Atlanta for 48 hours straight, capturing the raw energy and real vibe of the city that shaped his sound. He calls it an homage to ATL and an open letter to his hometown. Co-directed by Wolfe and Mark Hidalgo, with creative direction, edit and colour grade by Shane C., and shot by Michael Johnson II and Hidalgo, the visual feels as restless and electric as the music itself: no polish for polish’s sake, just pure city adrenaline.

From Atlanta’s underground to headline stages from New York City to Sydney, Sam Wolfe is proving he’s one of the most exciting American names in techno right now, and “Control Delete” might be his biggest statement yet. Run it back, crank the low end, and get ready, because if this is the debut, the rest of the Drumcode chapter is going to be massive.
