Anoraak – Shoulda Kinda Guy feat. Fleur De Mur [Juliet Records]

Fleur De Mur is having her close-up moment right now, and her vocals on Anoraak‘s “Shoulda Kinda Guy” are bright and natural. The vocal take on the track is the same one the duo recorded in a hotel room while both artists were on an artistic residency in Sicily. The instrumental track was almost cut from the album Golden Hour, but it only took Fleur a few minutes to lay down the vocals, and the rest is disco history magic!

Dux – Look Around (Groovy Kaiju Club Mix) [Oceanfront Online]

Dux is an independent funk-based musician, so it makes sense that he chose Vaporfunk producer Groovy Kaiju to remix the 2024 track “Look Around” for the club in 2025. The vocal is pitched up significantly, which matches the funkier groove of this remix. The synth horns are a great addition and give the track a nu-disco vibe. This track has a fun party feel, so let’s go party!

Young Gun Silver Fox – Just For Pleasure [Monty Music]

I am late to the game learning about Young Gun Silver Fox (Andy Platts and Shawn Lee), but they just dropped their fifth album Pleasure, and the track “Just For Pleasure” could have been released in 1978, but I am loving the yacht disco vibes in 2025! The track oozes breeziness, with no commitments unless it’s a commitment to pleasure seeking!

Tonique & Man – Dreaming [Tonique Records]

Tonique & Man are back with their very summer vibey track “Dreaming” from their new three-track EP All There Is To Know. With the stress of the world constantly in our faces, this track goes down like a cool beverage, nice and easy.

Riva Starr – (I’ll Be Your) Paradise feat. Nic Hanson [Snatch Records Limited]

Riva Starr (Stefano Miele) has been producing house/disco/breakbeat music for 25 years and shows no signs of slowing down! “(I’ll Be Your) Paradise” has its roots in classic disco, but is thoroughly modern and ready for today’s dancefloor. Nic Hanson’s vocals have the perfect nu-disco tone and will, as the album title says, Keep Me On The Dancefloor.

Borka & The Gang – Tem Que Sonhar [The Disco Express]

Boris Graus, aka Borka & The Gang, has blended his love of Brazilian music vocalists into the lush “Tem Que Sonhar”, an unadulterated love story for Brazilian-influenced disco! The entire Amor Do Sol EP is a delightful listen with more fun in the sun vibes on each track.

John Beltran presents Sol Set – Love Revolution (John Beltran’s Soul Disco Mix) [All Good Music]

What we need in this world is a love revolution, and the John Beltran remix of Sol Set’s (John Beltran and Shane Donnelly) “Love Revolution” is incredibly soulful while being undeniably danceable. Music is healing, and the disco community continues to spread this message across the masses. Preach!

Harvey Sutherland – Nobody Like You (Glenn Underground Dancer’s Cielo Remix) [Clarity Recordings]

Glenn Underground‘s remix of Harvey Sutherland‘s “Nobody Like You” takes a completely different musical direction into a disco wonderland. The song meanders through a lush landscape of sound, changing tempo several times, leaving the listener wondering what’s next! The additional keyboards and bass give the track a jazzy feel that will compel you to give the song another listen.

Leslie Lello – Another Dance [Polyamore]

“Another Dance” takes its cues from the early ’80s soul/funk/boogie music. Leslie Lello has a wealth of knowledge in multiple electronic genres of music, and you will find his music on The Disco Express, Spa In Disco, and more. Lello certainly sounds like he’s having fun on this track, and so will you!

Gavin Turek – Disco Boots (Robosonic Remix) [Madame Gold Records]

Are you ready for a little more funk? If so, the Robosonic remix of Gavin Turek‘s “Disco Boots” will fill the need! The disco takes the back seat so the funk bass can shine, and Turek’s vocal sounds a little bit brighter in this mix. This is a very well-done remix.

Jame Moorfield – No Time [Sundries]

If you are looking for disco tracks to add to your summer playlist, make sure to add Jame Moorfield‘s “No Time“! This track has the perfect amount of synth strings layered over the bass jam, and the guitar ties it all together. Check it out on Sundries now!

Tunesmith – Sunshine (Da Lukas Remix) [Dafia Records]

Let’s keep that summer playlist going with Tunesmith‘s “Sunshine” and the wonderful disco-energy-packed remix by Da Lukas. The vocal gets buried a little deeper in the mix in favor of the instrumentation, with some nice horns and percussion driving the groove. The tempo is increased quite a bit on this remix and will force you to dance!

Purple Disco Machine – Dream Machine feat. Alison Goldfrapp [Columbia Music]

In an age where people are obsessed with their devices, Alison Goldfrapp decided to take it one step further in her collaboration with Purple Disco Machine and write a song about someone who falls in love with a driverless car. The idea isn’t as far-fetched as it sounds, but she sure makes it sound lovely, with her ethereal voice sounding a bit more grounded on this track. You can find this on the bonus edition of Paradise now.

Alex Cherney – Oo we yo! feat. The Brothers Nylon & Wesley Bright [Trialtone Laquer Inc.]

Alex Cherney and The Brothers Nylon are coming on strong with their funk game on “Oo we yo!” Wesley Bright burns the house down with his lip-bitingly funky vocals, plus he added some killer horns and synths. And, if you listen closely, you can hear Kendra Morris crooning on the backing vocals. Oo we yo, indeed!

Soul Clap & Egyptian Lover – Hai Karate (FSQ x Spooki Remix) [Soul Clap Records]

Egyptian Lover, aka Greg Broussard, is a true legend in the biz, with a discography that is mind-blowing. His collaboration with Soul Clap is a nod to the past while living in the present, created with some of the best disco/funk producers of the modern era! The FSQ x Spooki remix adds a touch of disco into the mix in all the right places.
