Markus Shulz returns to In Search of Sunrise for massive Vol. 21

The latest edition of the iconic In Search of Sunrise mix series is set to release next month, with a massively expanded offering. The compilation will once again see Markus Shulz take the lead, a role he has held since 2018.

2025 has been an exciting year for fans of the iconic In Search of Sunrise mix series. The iconic compilation, originally begun by Tiësto, is preparing the 21st edition of the series, and will feature three distinct mixes. This latest version will once again be curated by Markus Shulz, who says, “The world has changed. So has the music. But the need to escape, to dream, and to feel—that remains. And that’s what this next era of In Search of Sunrise is about: building a bridge from nostalgia into a future worth believing in.” Expanding its format to be released at three separate times, the first drop will come on August 6th, with The Awakening mix hitting streaming services.

The Awakening will be followed on August 27th with the second collection of tracks under the title The Nirvana, looking to offer an emotionally euphoric listen. The final chapter, The Nocturnal Voyage, will provide more of a late-night techno sound and will be released on September 17th. Alongside streaming, the collection will also be available as a 3-LP or 3-CD collection and can be ordered now.
