A State of Trance Returns to Rotterdam for Two Nights in 2027
The global trance community has reason to celebrate as A State of Trance is officially returning to the Netherlands in 2027. Armin van Buuren‘s flagship brand will once again take over the iconic Rotterdam Ahoy for two full nights of immersive music on 26 and 27 February 2027. This upcoming weekend follows the landmark 25th-anniversary edition, which successfully welcomed over 45,000 fans from across the globe earlier this year.
A Weekend of Trance Excellence
The festivities commence on Friday, 26 February, with Armin van Buuren headlining a special five-hour set. This extended performance is expected to traverse the spectrum of the genre, blending timeless classics with fresh sounds and exclusive unreleased material. The Friday program will be spread across three distinct stages, each curated to showcase the depth of the trance scene.
On Saturday, 27 February, the venue will expand into a five-area destination, hosting a diverse array of established and emerging artists. A highlight of the Saturday schedule is an exclusive vinyl set from Armin van Buuren, designed to open the day. This intimate experience is included for guests who secure official hotel packages, though fans can also gain access by purchasing Early Access tickets.
