Miami’s Legendary Techno Hub Domicile Reopens in Expanded Allapattah Venue
Miami’s underground hard-techno haven, Domicile, is officially back—this time in a larger, freestanding location in Allapattah, with doors reopening on September 5. Known for its uncompromising sound and loyal crowd, the beloved bunker returns with a stronger setup, a bigger mission, and the same commitment to raw, pulsing techno.
A New Home, Same Core Mission
Sagiv Israel, founder of Domicile, confirmed to Miami New Times that the new venue is located right across from Las Rosas, between 28th Street and NW 7th Avenue.
“We signed the agreement for the new location way before the old location was shut down by the city,” said Israel. “Rather than exhausting time and money on renovations to make the old haunt code-compliant, moving was faster (though a little behind schedule).”
He also noted the rise of nightlife momentum in the area: “It looks like a lot of things are coming down to the new area over Las Rosas, and now Domicile, and becoming the new area for nightlife.”

Domicile 2.0: Built for Bass and Community
- Launch party: The return kicks off with DomicileXL, headlined by CLTX, with support from Gioh Cecato, Jay Toledo, and Nebülä.
- New space: The venue is now freestanding and fully dedicated to techno—a rarity in Miami.
- Sound and infrastructure: A custom-built system has been installed to handle the sheer power of hard techno.
Amenities to Match the Music
- Comfort upgrades: 14 bathrooms replace the old spot’s porta-potties, and a 10,000 sq ft covered outdoor area adds flexibility for outdoor programming.
- Accessibility: Located near the thriving Allapattah corridor, the club sits on the front lines of Miami’s underground revival.
Beyond Nightlife: A Hub for Growth
Israel isn’t just reopening a club—he’s building infrastructure for the scene:
- Free weekday programming will include DJ lessons, producer workshops, yoga, meditation, and bi-weekly live set tutorials.
- Community focus: With an eye on sustainability, the club hopes to help Miami’s hard-techno talent break into the global circuit.
“A lot of local DJs here have talent, but no platform.” “We’re changing that.”

“Friday September 5th DomicileXL is back and this time it’s going to be better than ever as we are opening the doors of our new Domicile.”
