Chris Lorenzo & aMo (um) Come Together To Drop ‘HOTS 4 U’

Chris Lorenzo has teamed up with longtime friend aMo (um) for the exhilarating anthem ‘HOTS 4 U‘, released today and marking a major milestone as the 100th release from acclaimed label tszr (Three Six Zero Recordings). The timing couldn’t be better for the collaboration, with tszr currently holding the title of Beatport’s Label of the Month.

The track has already earned massive support from some of the biggest names in dance music. Peggy Gou, Michael Bibi, Prospa, Carlita, Josh Baker, Jamie Jones, Mau P, Chris Lake, and Dom Dolla have all been dropping ‘HOTS 4 U’ in their recent sets to fantastic crowd reactions. The pre-release buzz has been building for months, with the track racking up thousands of Shazams and many predicting it could become one of the standout anthems of summer 2026.

‘HOTS 4 U’ opens with rapid-fire hi-hats and machine gun snares before a filthy bassline drops in. The production cleverly samples TZ’s ‘I Got the Hots for You’—made legendary through its use in Theme from S-Express—alongside a powerful vocal from Chaka Khan’s ‘Never Miss The Water’. Lorenzo and aMo take these classic samples, add their signature acid touches, and deliver something that hits hard on the dancefloor. The track got its first major test during tszr’s packed Miami Music Week party, where Lorenzo played a four-hour back-to-back set with Skream and ‘HOTS 4 U’ earned serious crowd love.

The collaboration represents the culmination of a two-decade friendship between the producers. “This is a record born out of 20 years of friendship,” Lorenzo explains. “When I first moved out at 18, aMo (um) was my first housemate. Over the years, we have always had the same musical tastes. We’ve been to countless raves, shopped for records at HTFR and Tempest in Birmingham and our love for drum & bass, garage, house, hip hop, reggae can all be summed up in this record.”

aMo echoes the sentiment: “Two decades of friendship laid the foundation for this moment. From the day we met, our shared passion for music just clicked shaped through years of living together, endless listening sessions, parties, record digging, and even the occasional slaps to the head over a mixing mistake. I couldn’t be more excited to release this alongside someone who’s not just a friend, but family on tszr.”
