Tiësto turns Flourish & Wolf Cutt’s ‘The Sign’ into a trance weapon
Tiësto’s trance era keeps rolling. The Dutch icon has delivered his remix of Flourish & Wolf Cutt’s ‘The Sign’, out now on his own Musical Freedom label. The original version of ‘The Sign’ arrived in April 2026 via So Skint. Records, pairing UK garage rhythms with atmospheric synths and a euphoric vocal. That mix of garage drums and trance-leaning emotion caught Tiësto’s ear earlier this year, and he explained on episode 037 of his PRISMATIC radio show that it was the vocal that first drew him in, seeing straight away how it could work in his own sets.
The Tiësto remix of The Sign takes the track into high-energy, 137 BPM trance territory, keeping the repeated title refrain at its centre while building it out for big rooms and festival stages. It has been doing the rounds well before release day too. Tiësto premiered it on PRISMATIC, Nicky Romero picked it up for Protocol Radio, and Korolova dropped it during her set at AMF in Amsterdam last weekend.
It is the latest in a run of remixes that has seen Tiësto lean further into faster, trance-driven sounds, following releases such as his hard techno-leaning remix of KUKO’s ‘Voicemail’. For Flourish and Wolf Cutt, it puts a track that started in the UK garage world in front of one of the biggest audiences in dance music.
‘The Sign (Tiësto Remix)’ is available now. Grab it via Spinnin’ Records.
