Enrico Rosica and Timo Maas Unite for ‘No More’ Featuring Ivye

Enrico Rosica recently shared that his latest production, “No More,” began with an entirely different tone before evolving through a pivotal conversation with vocalist Ivye. This collaborative shift highlights the singer’s profound influence on the track’s final direction, marking a significant moment for the project. Released today, September 25, on Magnetic Magazine Recordings, the track features both a Vocal Mix and an Enrico Rosica Dub Mix, serving as the label’s 76th official signing.

The collaboration originated in Rimini, where producer Francesco Mami facilitated the introduction between Rosica and the legendary German producer Timo Maas. The track also features a strong local connection, with vocals provided by Francesca Pianini Mazzucchetti—known professionally as Ivye—and cover art captured by local photographer Filippo Zaghini. These regional ties ground the release, even as it integrates Maas’s decades of international club experience into a progressive house framework.

Two Mixes, With Another Version Coming

The Vocal Mix places Ivye’s performance at the forefront, with lyrics that explore the pressures of digital appearances and the modern obsession with being seen. Rosica noted that the inclusion of her voice fundamentally altered the production’s emotional landscape, resulting in a finished piece that carries weight beyond the dance floor.

For those seeking a different perspective, the Enrico Rosica Dub Mix offers a more instrumental-focused approach. Rosica emphasized his philosophy on alternate versions, noting that he strives to maintain a sonic connection between mixes while ensuring each serves a distinct purpose for DJs. This allows for seamless transitions in a set when a full vocal might not be appropriate. A third iteration, the Timo Maas Riviera Mix, is currently slated for release on October 9.

DJs Have Already Played “No More”

The record has already begun to make waves in the club circuit, appearing in several high-profile tracklists prior to its official release. Mike van Brugge featured the Enrico Rosica Dub Mix on his Flipside Radio show on September 17, while Rob Zile included a version of the track in his Brain Food Radio program on Kiss FM Australia on September 22. With early support from industry heavyweights like Black Coffee, Chris Fortier, and Hernán Cattáneo, “No More” is already establishing itself as a standout release for the season.
