Arizona’s HOCO Fest expand programme and announces sustainability summit for 2022

The 16th edition of the event comes to Downtown Tucson, Arizona from 1-4 September.

HOCO Fest has announced more details for its upcoming event including the first annual Sonoran Desert Sustainability Summit. This will take place on 3 September with conversations from one of the co-founders of Netflix documentary Kiss the Ground and Mexican musician and environmental activist Caloncho.

As part of the environmental awareness aspect of the event they will also have the HOCO waste sorting programme in collaboration with local permaculture and aquaponics organisation Awareness Ranch.

The line-up for HOCO Fest 2022 features the likes of Warpaint, Huerco S, Kush Jones, Aurora Halal and former Crack Magazine cover star Arooj Aftab. This year also sees the annual music event team up with Mexico City’s Festival NRMAL for a cross-border collaboration that will feature over 20 artists from Mexico and the AZ/CA borderland region.
