Armin van Buuren & Lilly Palmer drop ‘Ayi Giri / Dopamine Machine’ EP: Listen
Armin van Buuren and Lilly Palmer have officially joined forces for the first time, releasing a new double-single titled ‘Ayi Giri / Dopamine Machine’. Moreover, the two-track package follows months of anticipation after they first teased the collaboration during a surprise B2B at Amsterdam Dance Event last year.
Instead of playing it safe, Armin van Buuren and Lilly Palmer go straight for peak-time pressure, delivering extended versions designed for dark rooms and late hours. Additionally, the release highlights a clear contrast that works in their favour, as Armin’s sharp, controlled production meets Lilly’s harder-edged, high-intensity techno approach, creating two tracks built for maximum momentum.
The double-single also reflects how quickly their connection has grown over the past year, both on stage and through releases. In a statement to Beatportal, Lilly Palmer said: “From the very first moment, the energy with Armin just clicked and felt meant to be.” She added, “Getting signed to Armada, releasing the ‘Blah Blah Blah’ remix, our b2b sets, and the now-legendary Face2Face at Ushuaïa Ibiza turned into a journey that was pure fire.”
Notably, Palmer also confirmed that ‘Ayi Giri’ will appear as part of her upcoming album, adding extra weight to the collaboration beyond a one-off moment. As a result, ‘Ayi Giri / Dopamine Machine’ feels like the start of something bigger, rather than a quick studio link-up built for headlines.
With both artists continuing to push techno deeper into their live sets, this release lands as a timely statement, loud, direct, and ready for the warehouse. Stream the EP on Spotify below or via your preferred platform here.
