Adding to this iconic list is the Van Nelle Fabriek, a monumental structure boasting striking architecture and designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site. This marks a significant milestone for the Van Nelle Fabriek, as it’s the first time the site and its buildings will serve as the backdrop for a festival. The venue will host multiple stages, both inside the factory and outside under the renowned diagonal transport bridges that connect the various buildings of the Van Nelle Factory. Here, on August 24th, international artists, local talents, and festival-goers will come together for an unforgettable experience.

“For the past 10 years, we have conducted an extensive search for a festival site that aligns with our vision. The Van Nelle Factory stands out as an epitome of Dutch architecture, celebrating the cultural heritage of Rotterdam alongside the city’s industrial design and creativity. We are incredibly proud to host our inaugural Audio Obscura Festival in Rotterdam at the Van Nelle Factory,” says the Audio Obscura organisation.

The second announcement with artists is far from the complete lineup. Audio Obscura will announce the full lineup at a later date. Fans who don’t want to miss out on tickets can purchase theirs now at www.audio-obscura.com. First-release tickets are already sold out.
