Avicii’s Final Show to be Commemorated with Special Stockholm Event
The Avicii Experience is preparing to mark a poignant milestone: the 10th anniversary of Avicii‘s final live performance. On August 28th, the museum in Stockholm will host a special event at The Node, offering fans a unique opportunity to reflect on the legacy of the late Swedish producer, Tim Bergling.
The evening, scheduled from 4-9 PM CEST, will feature two alternating film screenings that document the final chapters of his touring career. Attendees will have the chance to view Avicii – My Last Show, the 2024 Netflix documentary that captures the intensity and emotion of his final performance at Ushuaïa, Ibiza. The second screening will showcase rare footage from his last show in Malmö, Sweden, which took place on August 5th, 2016.
Preserving a Musical Legacy
This commemorative event is part of the broader mission of the Avicii Experience to preserve and share the story of one of electronic music’s most influential figures. Beyond the museum’s permanent interactive exhibits and personal artifacts, the organization continues to facilitate moments of connection for fans worldwide.
The tribute follows a significant installation at Tomorrowland Belgium earlier this year, which honored the artist fifteen years after his 2011 festival debut. Through immersive audiovisual storytelling, that installation provided a space for festivalgoers to reconnect with the impact of his work. As the 10-year anniversary approaches, the Stockholm event serves as a vital reminder of the enduring influence of the Swedish DJ, inviting fans to revisit the final performances that defined the end of an era.
