Burning Man’s largest Art Car “Long Feng” reveals lineup

LongFeng has unveiled the full lineup for its highly-anticipated return to the Burning Man playa. A breathing paradox of myth and machine, this innovative art car bends and unfurls with the grace of the contortionists who inspired its form, hosting a world-class roster of electronic music talent amidst the dust.

Born from a love story on the playa, Long Feng was created by two veteran burners whose sacred union inspired a project dedicated to beauty, unity, and community. The art car serves as a cultural bridge between East and West, guided by the ethos “Let Beauty Lead” and the belief that shared stories can spark connection, creativity, and collective growth. Built by performers, for performers, Long Feng is not only the largest art car on the playa, but the first performing art car with a structure that mirrors the fluidity and adaptability of a contortionist’s body —molding itself to the unique energy and style of each performance.

In the words of Long Feng’s creative director Mark Alan Diaz, “We built Long Feng with the precision of a tailor — every cut intentional, and every detail curated.

Long Feng is a moving fusion of ancient symbolism and future vision—its form inspired by the dragon and phoenix as emblems of beauty, truth, and sacred union; the egg (pearl) as a sign of cultural rebirth; and the Five Elements it’s made out of (Fire, Earth, Metal, Water, and Wood) as the foundations of all creation. This eastern base meets distinctly Western influences in its music, performance, and lineup, creating a stage where tradition and innovation collide

At the forefront of a new era in art cars, Long Feng integrates emerging AI, robotics, and interactive technology to deliver sensory experiences beyond anything seen on playa. Conceived as a mechanical being destined for its own personality and intelligence, it points toward a future where humans and machines celebrate in harmony—ushering in the next chapter of global performance culture.

From sunrise odysseys to peak-night journeys, Long Feng will be soundtracked by the likes of Crosstown Rebels wizard DamianLazarus, Brazilian chart-topper VintageCulture, the only playa b2b between Maccabi House co-founders Adam Ten b2b Mita Gami (Extended Set), and Latin house heavyweight Gordo. The billing continues with Afro-house pioneer FrancisMercier b2b Turkish deep house star Mahmut Orhan, Australian house favorite KazJames’s only art car set of the whole Burn, Chicago house tastemaker Lee Foss, and Brazilian rising star MAZ. Melodic techno craftsman Colyn, Norwegian duo Kream, Los Angeles-based Kimonos, and Spanish deep house maestro Arodesb2b Afrohouse star AMÉMÉ round out the sonic highlights.

From selecting the very best DJ artists to enlisting the industry-leading designers at Sound Investment Audio (SIA), every facet of the system has been thoroughly considered to achieve an experience in the aural realm that is like no other, including components from Funktion-One, NST Audio and Full Fat Audio. In the words of Todd Konecny, Partner at Sound Investment Audio, “It is rare that, as designers, we are given the opportunity to design the ultimate system for a once-in-a-generation art and music fusion creation.”

Thursday night unveils the 1st Annual Dragon Awakening Tie-Up, a landmark convergence of Burning Man’s most iconic dragon art cars. Long Feng, Abraxas, Elektra, Heavy Meta, Torch the Dragon, Xuza, and more will join forces in the largest tie-up gathering the playa has ever seen. Together, they will transform the desert night into a monumental showcase of scale, light, and creativity. Long Feng will also tie up with Bipolar Express, Titanics End at PlayAlchemist, and Maxa Camp while on the playa.

Burning Man 2025 will see Long Feng return to the playa in full force, unveiling new performances, expanded production, and immersive, tech-driven storytelling. With its seamless blend of world-class music, cutting-edge design, worlds best dancers/circus artists, and boundary-pushing sensory experiences, Long Feng stands as a beacon of the next generation of art cars—where creativity, community, and innovation converge to create moments that resonate far beyond the dust.
