Buttechno to donate all Bandcamp proceeds to Ukrainian charities
Pavel Milyakov is donating all Bandcamp proceeds for own work and his Psy X label, as well as his Patreon channel, to Ukrainian causes.
The Russian multidisciplinary artist and DJ announced the move on in a series of social media posts. “Russian regime’s vile war against Ukraine should be stopped!” he told his Facebook followers. “It is important to spread the word and to donate now. 100 percent [of] proceeds from Psy X records and my own Bandcamp and Patreon goes to Ukrainian charities and self-defence needs now.” [sic]

100% proceeds from psyxrecords and my own bandcamp & patreon goes to donations. It is also very important to share the truth about war, here is a dedicated telegram channel — https://t.co/43PeGz9tXA
also @muscut_records donate 100% of their income to the dedicated funds.— pavel milyakov (@pavelmilyakov) March 2, 2022
The decision is a response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine last week. A number of other labels and artists including Hyperdub will also be donating Bandcamp proceeds to Ukrainian causes. Earlier today (3 March), the UK label announced plans to donate 50 percent of Bandcamp Friday sales tomorrow (4 March) to “a Ukraine charity to benefit the people suffering there”.
