Cazt Joins Flip (BR) and Like Mike to Bring “Around You” to Life via Green Room

Brazilian DJ and producer Cazt seems to have found his creative stride, especially when working alongside his studio partner Flip (BR). The two had previously collaborated on the track “Run From Home“, released in March 2024. Now they join forces once again to bring “Around You” to life, featuring the participation of a well-known star of the global scene in his solo project, Like Mike. The release dropped last Friday (19 July 2024), marking the return of the artists to Like Mike‘s own label, Green Room.

Who is Cazt?

Brazilian by blood and soul, Cazt shone as soon as he entered the electronic scene in 2020 when he released his official remix for “Várias Queixas” by Gilsons. The remix has surpassed 24 million plays on Spotify and was the second most-played song on Brazilian radio in 2021, earning support from major stars in his country, such as Alok, Dubdogz, Liu, Bhaskar, and Ownboss.

In recent months, however, his sound has transformed and is now more connected to the sounds of Afro-house, deep house, and house. This style caught the attention of other figures in the scene and captivated the eyes and ears of names like Black Coffee, Themba, Adriatique, Francis Mercier, and especially Keinemusik, who played his remix for Dandara Manoela‘s “Minha Prece” numerous times. The remix, a collaboration with Soldera, was released by MoBlack.

Diving into “Around You”

After the release of Minha Prece, one of the best Afro house tracks of the year according to Beatport, Cazt launches a collab with big name Like Mike, from the duo Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, and revisits his partnership with Flip (BR).

The trio of artists has fused their respective styles to create a seductive Afro-house track that grabs you from the first seconds.
