Cercle Expands Its Vision With Cercle Festival In Mexico
Cercle is continuing its global expansion, officially announcing the arrival of Cercle Festival in San José del Cabo, set to take place on November 14-15, 2026, within the singular landscapes of Baja California Sur. Known for blending electronic music with breathtaking cultural backdrops, the brand is taking its signature immersive experience beyond Europe once again.
Building on the success of its flagship events, particularly its large-scale festival held at the National Air and Space Museum of France, Cercle is now bringing its audiovisual storytelling and carefully curated lineups to a new audience. Intended to be a ’boutique experience,’ this edition will take place from 2 PM to 2 AM each day in an open-air environment set among palm trees and the sea.
While full details are still emerging, the Mexico edition is expected to stay true to Cercle’s core identity: pairing world-class electronic artists with visually striking, culturally significant locations. The brand has built its reputation on transforming unique landmarks into one-of-a-kind stages, merging music, architecture, and nature into a cohesive experience.
Cercle’s founder and artistic director, Derek Barbolla, spoke on the significance of Baja California for this edition: “I’ve stood in a lot of beautiful places, but Baja California really does something different to you… The colors, the light, the contrast… it’s very special there.
We’ve built so many meaningful memories in Mexico over the past years, so bringing the festival there for the first time outside of France felt natural. I want this to feel unique, timeless, and fully connected to its surroundings.
Derek Barbolla, Founder and Artistic Director of Cercle
Cercle’s festivals are more than just music events; they are designed as immersive journeys. Past editions have featured multi-stage setups, large-scale visual production, and lineups that balance global headliners with rising talent. Its 2026 festival in France, for example, spans three days, multiple stages, and over 40 artists, reinforcing its position as a leader in destination electronic events.
The move into Mexico signals a broader push to bring these curated experiences to new regions, tapping into Latin America’s rapidly growing electronic music scene. While lineup details, venue specifics, and dates for the Mexico edition have yet to be fully revealed, anticipation is already building around what could be one of Cercle’s most visually ambitious productions to date.
