The collaboration is out this week.

In December, Charli XCX shared a snippet of the track. It was followed by another teaser shared by Sawayama last week, who confirmed the title track and said the release is “coming”. The singer posted a clip of the two artists on set and filming a music video for Beg For You.

The track is set to appear on Charli XCX’s next album Crash, which is slated for release on 18 March via Asylum / Atlantic. The pop star is on the cover of our bi-annual publication The Collections. In the interview, she says on her next LP: “I wanted to make a major label record. In a way, it’s very much honest and earnest, and in a way it’s me completely trolling. Pick whichever angle you want.” Read the cover story here, and head to the online store to purchase your copy.
Sawayama released her debut album in 2020. That same year, the singer spoke out about the nominations process for the BRIT Awards and Mercury Prize, highlighting her ineligibility for the two award shows despite having lived in the UK for 25 years. In response to her comments, the BPI later changed its rules of eligibility.
