David Guetta Delivers High-Energy Remix of Major Lazer’s ‘Rotate’

David Guetta has officially put his signature stamp on Major Lazer‘s latest single, ‘Rotate,’ releasing a high-energy remix via Because Music. This new version arrives just one week after a distinct rework from UK house producer Patrick Topping, offering fans two vastly different interpretations of the same record.

Guetta’s take on the track leans heavily into his proven ability to bridge the gap between underground club sensibilities and mainstream radio appeal. By extracting fresh, driving elements from the original production, he has crafted a version that feels perfectly suited for both peak-time festival sets and high-rotation radio play. In contrast, Patrick Topping’s earlier remix focused on the rolling, groove-heavy house aesthetic that has defined his career over the past several years.

The original ‘Rotate’ features vocals from America Foster, who recently joined Major Lazer as a permanent member, alongside contributions from Skillibeng and Beam. The track was released earlier this year as a long-awaited fan favorite, accompanied by a vibrant dance video choreographed by Sara Bivens and Calvit Hodge, featuring the group’s iconic dance troupe, the Lazer Gyals.
