The venue, Cave Romane, is an ancient quarry that dates back to Roman times and was instrumental in constructing the Pula Arena under Emperor Vespasian’s rule.
This awe-inspiring location, with its towering 50-metre limestone walls and nestled in the quaint village of Vinkuran, stands as a testament to ancient ingenuity and the lasting legacy of the Roman Empire. Myths whisper of Cave Romane’s past as hallowed ground for ancient tribes and mystical entities, adding to Istria’s mystique as the “Terra Magica“.
This year’s festival is poised to transform the breathtaking cave with a state-of-the-art projection mapping show in collaboration with the avant-garde media collective Ouchhh. The event promises to be a mesmerizing dance haven for around 4000 attendees, set against a backdrop of world-renowned music.
