IMS Ibiza 2025 Finds space for Drum & Bass as a key element of it’s curation –

The industry leading summit IMS explores the world of DnB, Jungle & Breaks with some huge names

One of electronic music’s most anticipated weeks – delivering exceptional panels, networking opportunities, new music, innovation and of course.. A bit of Spanish sun.. This year IMS Ibiza is dedicating a full-on program to celebrating 40 years of jungle and drum & bass—and it’s something we’re very, very on board with..

Taking place from April 23–25 at Mondrian Ibiza & Hyde Ibiza Resort, this isn’t just a token panel or a last-minute side-stage addition. We’re talking serious curation, heavyweight speakers, and a proper club event at Akasha Ibiza featuring legends like Sherelle, Krust, Bailey, Charlie Tee, Lens, Mark System, and MC Chickaboo.

SHERELLE

In my humble opinion.. There’s plenty of events like this covering the world of House, Techno & Trance so i’m glad to see this year, IMS are putting jungle and DnB at the forefront, recognizing its cultural impact, underground resilience, and ever-growing global influence. And they’re doing it right—with discussions tackling intergenerational exchange, gender parity in the scene, and the genre’s journey from the UK streets to worldwide domination.

The panels are stacked with key voices: from jungle historian Julia Toppin to Hospital Records’ Chris Goss, and industry movers from Beatport, Skiddle, and Spotify. One of the most exciting moments? Sherelle in conversation with a jungle icon, bridging the gap between past and future innovators in the scene.

And of course, it wouldn’t be a proper celebration without a huge party. On April 25, Akasha Ibiza is the place to be, with a killer lineup that spans generations of DnB talent—expect deep rollers, high-energy breakbeats, and gun-finger salutes on the white isle..

This is more than just recognition of the genre’s growth globally —it’s a statement. Drum & bass belongs at events like IMS, and with this lineup, this curation, and this energy, it’s clear that the appetite for bass music in global electronic culture is only getting stronger.
