Insomniac’s Basscon Unveils Hard Dance Lineup For Wasteland 2024
Today, Insomniac’s Basscon brand has announced the lineup for Wasteland 2024, which will bring leading selectors in hardstyle, rawstyle, hardcore, uptempo, and more to San Bernardino, California’s NOS Event Center on August 30 and 31.
After celebrating its tenth anniversary last year, the beloved hard dance brand will move into its second decade with Wasteland performances from hard dance icons like Bioweapon, Creeds and Frontliner—performing a classics set.
Elsewhere on the lineup are favorites like Coone, Atmozfears, Darren Styles, Vieze Asbak, DJ Isaac and more. Technoboy and Tuneboy will present another edition of their collaborative TNT performance, while Ben Nicky will present his acclaimed Xtreme project.

Though a lineup leak at last weekend’s Beyond Wonderland SoCal had indicated that revered Italian hardstyle artist Rooler would make his U.S. debut at Wasteland 2024, he has been removed from today’s official lineup announcement.
Touring visa woes were rumored to be the reason for Rooler’s removal from the lineup. However, the artist confirmed that a booking availability mixup was the real reason for the exclusion.
Responding to fans in the comments section of Basscon’s Wasteland announcement on Instagram today, Rooler wrote, “I’m sorry to all the people who wanted to see me. This breaks my heart but it is NOT due to my visa. Basscon simply didn’t check my availability with my booking agency.”
“That weekend I’m performing in Germany, I’m already announced somewhere else,” he continued. “So I’m sorry but this has nothing to with me or my agency. My team didn’t know about the leaked lineup otherwise we would have never approved it.”
Despite Rooler’s absence, Southern California’s thriving hard dance community is expected to show out in force for Basscon’s biggest standalone event of the year.
