Louis the Child flip the script on Valee's ‘Womp Womp’ [Stream]

Dripping with future bass, trap, and experimental influences, Louis the Child‘s production style is sometimes best described simply by the atmosphere it evokes, and generally, the duo brings reliably good vibes. The Chicago pair once again bring a needed dose of “feel good” with their touring remix of Valee’s “Womp Womp.”
Originally crafted for the Dear Sense tour in 2018, the mellow remix flips the hip-hop hit by fellow Chicagoans Valee and Jeremih. The remix continues the duo’s trend of collaborating with the Chicago hip-hop scene, as they released two tracks with The Cool Kids on the eve of the Windy City hosting NBA All-star Weekend 2020.
“Womp Womp” was released on Valee’s 2018 debut GOOD JOB, You Found Me, released on Kanye West’s G.O.O.D Music imprint. Designer Scott Philibert also crafted a YouTube visualizer for the “Womp Womp” remix. Louis The Child announced to fans that this was the first of series of remixes dropping exclusively on their YouTube page.
Louis The Child’s newest drop comes hot off the heels of the duo’s collaboration with Foster the People on the effervescent “Every Color”—the latest single off the duo’s forthcoming album.
