Monolink Unveils Emotional New Single ‘In My Place’ Ahead Of New Album & European Tour

Monolink is officially in album mode. The German multi-instrumentalist, singer, and producer has just released ‘In My Place’, the latest single off his forthcoming third studio album The Beauty Of It All, due out September 26 via Embassy One.

Originally born out of an impromptu synth jam with longtime collaborator Toby Siebert, ‘In My Place’ evolved into a raw, emotionally charged cut driven by shuffling rhythms, subdued vocals, and a warped analog riff. “The final song is pretty much a live recording of that session,” Monolink explains. “There was so much energy in the room, and I still feel it instantly when I put this song on.”

That spontaneous energy pulses through the entire track, which joins previously released singles ‘Mesmerized,’ ‘Powerful Play,’ and ‘Avalanche‘ in teasing what’s shaping up to be Monolink’s most personal work yet.

The Beauty Of It All was conceived in rural Germany, where Monolink (real name Steffen Linck) returned to his roots to craft a body of work that explores themes of impermanence, beauty, and human connection. “For this album I went back to where it all began,” he says. “It turned into the most personal music I’ve made. A reflection of everything that’s brought me here—the beauty of joy, and of pain.”

Known for his genre-blending live shows that fuse guitar, vocals, and electronic elements, Monolink has cultivated a global fanbase through his immersive storytelling. With two albums already under his belt (Amniotic in 2018 and Under Darkening Skies in 2021), this upcoming chapter promises a deeper dive into the emotional and sonic landscape that defines his sound. To bring the album to life, Monolink has announced a massive European tour for fall 2025.
