New Alien-Themed Festival, Force Fields, To Bring Top Bass Music To Wisconsin

A new alien-themed electronic festival is touching down in Wisconsin this summer.

Force Fields, a new festival offering from the region’s Chippewa Valley Music Festivals, will bring two days of camping and mind-bending bass music to a 360-acre hayfield in Cadott, Wisconsin, from June 6-7.

Chippewa Valley Music Festivals, the producers of the region’s Rock Fest and Hoofbeat festivals, will embrace Wisconsin’s notoriety as a top location for UFO sightings for their first foray into electronic music, with extraterrestrial-themed art installations and experiences, and out-of-this-world beats from a host of bass music’s biggest stars.

The first-ever Force Fields will fittingly welcome a headline performance from midtempo bass artist and beloved “space mom” Rezz, alongside other top-billed stars, including masked EDM icon Marshmello, trap trailblazer RL Grime, and experimental bass favorite Liquid Stranger.

Elsewhere across the festival’s four stages, attendees can catch further experimental dubstep heavyweights like INZO, Mersiv, PEEKABOO, and Flux Pavilion, and a bevy of heralded support talent across a variety of bass-heavy subgenres.

Expect deep dub from the likes of A Hundred Drums, LYNY, Chmura, Drunkurwater, and Ravenscoon, hard-hitting trap from JAWNS and SAYMYNAME, and high-energyUKG, drum & bass, and more from MPH and Smoakland, among others. Check out the full lineup below.

In addition to top-notch tunes, Force Fields offers some of the most affordable passes for an event of its kind, with two-day general admission passes starting at $69 and camping passes starting at $20.

A wealth of customizable camping amenities includes free 24/7 showers, ice and water delivery, personal porta potty rentals, RV rentals, and more. Attendees are also allowed to enter and exit freely from the festival campsite.
