Ehua to release debut album ‘Panta Rei’ on 3024
Ehua has announced her debut album ‘Panta Rei’ will come out via Martyn’s 3024 label on May 2.
It features vocals from the London-based Italian artists for the first time, alongside acoustic instruments, weaved into her bass-rooted sound design.
Two tracks are out now, ‘Amarena’ and ‘Aria’, showcasing this broader sonic palette.

Eartheater and Shygirl link up on two-track single ‘Shark Brain / Dolphin’
Eartheater and Shygirl have joined forces for a new single on Mad Decent/Because.
The A-side ‘Shark Brain’ is a murky and demented experimental pop track, while the B-side ‘Dolphin’ serves up Eurodance bounce.
It’s available on a limited edition 7” vinyl.

Obongjayar to release new album ‘PARADISE NOW’ next month
Obongjayar is releasing a new album called ‘PARADISE NOW’ via September Recordings on May 30.
The 15-track album is described as “a Trojan horse of some of his most intimate storytelling yet”, and features a guest appearance from Little Simz.
The announcement has been accompanied with a new single and video drop, ‘Sweet Danger’. Check it out below.

2hollis drops new album ‘star’
2hollis has released his anticipated new album ‘star, comprising 15 tracks of experimental dance-rap.
Having teased the release with ‘style’, and ‘afraid’, the full LP showcases more of his style of merging grizzled bassweight, glitchy synths, euphoric melodies and blurred bars.

Omar+ and Josh Baker link up on new single, ‘Back It Up’
Josh Baker has launched his new imprint, Baker’s Dozen, with the release of a brand new collaborative track with rising house star Omar+, ‘Back It Up’.
The single landed at number 92 in the UK Singles Chart last week after its release, marking the first time either Omar+ or Josh Baker has charted. The new track features a bouncy bassline over a 4/4 beat, layered with an intoxicating vocal hook.

Mark Ernestus’ Ndagga Rhythm Force release new album, ‘Khadim’
Mark Ernestus’ Ndagga Rhythm Force have announced the release of a new record, their first release in almost a decade following 2016’s ‘Yermande’.
‘Khadim’, features four tracks, each “honing in” on just one or two drummers, per a press release. Elsewhere, the “sole recorded element” is the vocals.
“I didn’t want to simply continue with the same formula,” Ernestus explains. “I preferred to wait for a new approach. Playing live so many times, I wanted to capture some of the energy and freedom of those performances.”

FaltyDL returns to Planet Mu with 14-track album, ‘Neurotica’
Drew Lustman, AKA FaltyDL, has announced his return to Planet Mu after almost 10 years with a brand new 14-track album, ‘Neurotica’, landing this June.
Influenced by his young daughter’s playfulness, FaltyDL’s new lighthearted approach to production is heard throughout ‘Neurotica’ – a fizzy, euphoric take on gabber and bounce.
“I started to record, getting down fast, bright, sugar-rush sounds,” he explains. “185 to 200 BPM. I wrote them quick—half a day per track. In between, I slowed things down. Gave space for breath. Mike Paradinas helped shape the album, his ear guiding the flow.”

Dyslecta launches new imprint with four-track EP, ‘Fulcrum’
Yorkshire-born, London-based DJ and producer Dyslecta has launched his own imprint, Tenuous Links, with the release of a new four track EP.
The bass-leaning record, titled ‘Fulcrum’, spans the breadth of UK techno and club music, partly inspired by his hometown in East Yorkshire.
