Noods Radio launch new label Dummy Hands
Vancouver artist dj_2button is the first artist announced.
The independent Bristol-based broadcaster has launched their new label Dummy Hands today (1 March). In an Instagram post they announced that the first release will be Transient Communications from dj_2button, who currently is based in Vancouver but was previously a Bristol and Noods Radio resident.
Noods were one of the recipients of the Youth Music incubator fund, which has aided them with this new project. They have also recently announced CrossTalk, a day of talks and workshops from industry professionals aimed at supporting young creatives. Geoff Barrows, No Signal Radio and Ashleigh Jadee, who has worked with the likes of Skepta, JME and Wretch 32, will share industry insights across radio, videography and music composition. CrossTalk is set to take place on 26 March.
Transient Communications is set to be released on 15 April. Alongside the announcement, Noods have shared the video for the title track, which you can watch below.
