NOW Gallery announces new show Human Stories: The Satirists
The show will take place at the NOW Gallery in Greenwich Peninsula from October 13 to November 13.
NOW Gallery has announced a new show focusing in on the role of satire and its uses.
Human Stories: The Satirists features work from Stephen Tayo, Thandiwe Muriu, Thy Tran, Nguyen Smith, Bubi Canal, and Leonard Surajaya.
The show aims to unseat entrenched biases by using photography to explore satire’s uses, especially in relation to interconnectedness – and provides work that aims to transcend societal boundaries and constructs.
Speaking about the show, Kaia Charles, curator at NOW Gallery said:
“We are thrilled to be spotlighting this diverse group of artists and photographers, bringing together an evocative collection of works which traverse cultural modalities of a post Pandemic world.”
Human Stories: The Satirists will be free to enter from October 13 to November 14 at Greenwich Peninsula. You can find out more information here.
