Of The Trees Debuts New Concept Park Service In Chicago
American bass artist Of The Trees recently launched his highly anticipated three-city event series, Park Service, marking a significant milestone in his touring career. The inaugural stop took place in Chicago, one of the Midwest’s most vibrant electronic music hubs. On Saturday, May 30th, the producer brought a fresh, immersive production to The Salt Shed, supported by a stellar lineup including Jade Cicada, Chmura, and Snuffy.
Nature Walk
The experience began well before the doors opened. Led by Just Neeks, the team invited fans to participate in a communal nature walk through Grant Park and Millennium Park. This initiative allowed attendees to connect in the heart of downtown Chicago, with the first 50 participants receiving an exclusive Park Service patch as a commemorative keepsake.
Production
The Salt Shed provided the perfect backdrop for the sold-out event. The production design transformed the venue into an electronic garden, featuring moss and grass structures that brought the stage to life. Dynamic lighting beams and suspended, light-up plant pots created a sensory-rich environment that perfectly complemented the artist’s signature sound—a blend of bass, grime, and atmospheric textures. The visuals remained true to his brand, weaving together natural landscapes and ecosystems with futuristic technology. During the set, the artist debuted several new IDs, including a highly anticipated collaboration with Tape B.
Camp Alderwild
The Park Service series serves as a precursor to the broader Moonglade Park era, which includes the return of Camp Alderwild, scheduled for August 28–29 in Telluride, Colorado. Since its 2025 debut, Camp Alderwild has become a cultural touchstone for the region, and Of The Trees continues to solidify his reputation as an artist deeply committed to merging electronic music with the natural world.
