Pusha T and No Malice reform Clipse at Something in the Water Festival
The pair of brothers reunited the project for the first time in over a decade.
Pusha T and No Malice reformed Clipse on stage at Pharrell’s Something in the Water Festival over the weekend. The duo performed as part of the headline set Pharrell & Phriends. The appearance on Saturday (18 June) marked Pusha T and No Malice’s first together since a 2010 show, just after the release of their final album Til The Casket Drops.
In 2019 Pusha T and No Malice joined forces for Kanye‘s album Jesus is King, guesting on Use This Gospel. Following this, Pusha T rebuked any rumours that Clipse would be reforming to release another record. On a 2020 fan post speculating that Clipse were working on a new album, he commented, ““Wishful thinking…but see y’all at Something In The Water for sure.” [sic]
Earlier this year Pusha T released his latest album It’s Almost Dry, which was produced by Pharrell and Ye. The release also featured guest contributions from Jay-Z, Lil Uzi Vert and Kid Cudi. In an interview coinciding with the release, the rapper revealed what happened to his collaborative album with Madlib.
