Soundtoys Adds Resizable GUIs and Launches Massive Summer Sale
Soundtoys has officially released version 5.5 of its flagship plugin bundle, introducing a new experimental reverb plugin called SpaceBlender, a full set of updated factory presets, and long-awaited resizable user interfaces across the suite. Alongside the update, Soundtoys is running a Summer Sale through August 5, with discounts of up to 75% on popular individual plugins like Decapitator, EchoBoy, and Little AlterBoy.
The new version is available now for $299 (normally $599), with upgrade pricing for current users and academic discounts available. Existing Soundtoys 5 owners can also download the new resizable GUIs for free by logging into their accounts.
All sale prices and intro bundle pricing end August 5. The update, plugin deals, and full product info are available at soundtoys.com.
SpaceBlender Joins the Rack
The highlight of this update is SpaceBlender, a modulation-focused reverb designed for experimental textures and spacious, ambient layering. It integrates directly into the Soundtoys Effect Rack, unlocking new routing options and pairing combinations with other mainstays like EchoBoy, FilterFreak, and Tremolator.
With 67 new presets designed around the full suite, users can quickly explore ways to blend SpaceBlender’s reverbs with rhythmic modulation or analog-style coloration. From pitch-warped decays to tremolo-infused tails, the combinations are tailored for producers and sound designers who want to go beyond conventional reverb chains.
According to Soundtoys CEO Ken Bogdanowicz, the new plugin was designed to invite play while staying musical: “Drop SpaceBlender into the Rack with other tools like PhaseMistress or Decapitator, and you get movement, character, and tone that interact in ways that push your effects in fresh directions.”
Free GUI Update and Deep Plugin Discounts
While SpaceBlender is a paid add-on, the 5.5 update also includes free resizable GUIs for every plugin in the Soundtoys 5 collection. That means legacy owners of plug-ins like Radiator or PrimalTap can finally enjoy scalable UI layouts without upgrading their license tier.
The 5.5 update also kicks off a limited-time Summer Sale, offering steep discounts on individual plugins. Highlights include:
- EchoBoy: $69 (normally $199)
- Decapitator: $69 (normally $199)
- Little AlterBoy: $49 (normally $99)
These prices are available through August 5 on the Soundtoys website. For producers, mixers, and engineers who have been waiting for a reason to upgrade or expand their Soundtoys setup, this sale lines up with one of the most feature-rich updates in years. The combination of visual improvements, new creative tools, and aggressive pricing makes this a good time to revisit the bundle—especially if you already own pieces of the collection.
