The Warehouse Project announces Little Simz and Soichi Terada for 2022 season
The Manchester event series has unveiled the opening shows for its upcoming programme at Depot Mayfield.
First up for the 2022 season, inner-city festival Repercussion returns to Depot Mayfield on 10 September. The line-up features Little Simz, Jamie xx, Soichi Terada and Jeff Mills & Underground Resistance. Other acts confirmed for the day festival include Nia Archives, Obongjayar, Leon Vynehall, Fred again.. and Carista. There’s also Binker & Moses – who feature in our latest issue – plus Sherelle, Jamz Supernova and Nightmares on Wax.
The following week will see Eric Prydz play on 16 September. The next day, Disclosure head-up a five-stage takeover with other sets from the likes of The Blessed Madonna, TSHA, Chloé Robinson, Mall Grab and Eclair Fifi.
Elsewhere in the season, which runs from September to New Year’s Day, Metropolis hosts a DnB night with Chase & Status and Andy C on 23 September. There will also be a UKG focused event in the form of The Ape Birthday on 7 October with appearances from Craig David, Shy FX, Mike Skinner and TQD – aka Flava D, DJ Q and Royal T.
The Warehouse Project previously announced Bonobo and Caribou to play this year’s opening concert on 26 August.
