UNTOLD 2026 Draws 500,000 Attendees as 2027 Tickets Sell Out
UNTOLD closed out its 2026 edition in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, with more than 500,000 attendees across four days and four nights, according to organizers. The festival’s final day alone pulled in over 120,000 people, capping a run that featured sets from Flo Rida, Alan Walker, MEDUZA³ LIVE, Afrojack B2B R3HAB, Steve Aoki, Jamie Jones, Sara Landry and Andy C.
The Mainstage on the closing night opened with Grasu XXL, one of Romania’s more established hip-hop names, before Flo Rida took over with a set built around his run of international chart hits. Alan Walker followed with his usual visual-heavy production, and MEDUZA³ LIVE — the live band concept from the Italian trio — brought a mix of electronic music and live instrumentation to the stage.
Romanian rock band Animal X played a nostalgia-driven set for the hometown crowd, while JO and LAZY ED made their UNTOLD debut on the IQOS stage, running through JO’s catalog along with their collaborative single ‘Mor după tine’. The night’s back half belonged to an Afrojack B2B R3HAB collaboration, a pairing of two established names in global EDM who traded off on the Mainstage for one of the more high-energy sets of the closing night.
Steve Aoki kept the momentum going with his typically chaotic live show, and Portuguese artist Padre Guilherme handled the official Mainstage close with a set centered on more uplifting, communal themes.
Over at the Galaxy stage, house veteran Jamie Jones anchored a night dedicated to underground sounds, followed by MRAK’s cinematic, hypnotic productions and a closing set from Sara Landry, one of techno’s more prominent younger names, who held the crowd through the festival’s final moments.
Four Days, Four Nights of Headliners
The broader 2026 run included a wide range of bookings outside the dance music core. Sting played one of the week’s more anticipated live sets, and The Chainsmokers marked ten years since ‘Closer’ with a Mainstage sing-along. Day two brought Zara Larsson, Lewis Capaldi, and a returning Martin Garrix, along with a surprise appearance from Loredana Groza during Lost Frequencies’ set for a remix of her track ‘Lele’. Galaxy hosted Joseph Capriati and Solomun that night, while the Alchemy stage ran a lineup that included Denzel Curry, bbno$, and Camo & Krooked. Andy C closed out Alchemy on the final night with a drum & bass-driven set.
Attention has already shifted to next year. UNTOLD 2027 – Star Edition is scheduled for August 5–8, and the first batch of 30,000 passes sold out within 24 hours of going on sale. Passes remain available at €109 plus taxes and fees.
