Arturia announces Pigments 3 synth plugin
Arturia has announced a new version of their popular plugin instrument Pigments. The synth covers many aspects of synthesis including subtractive, wavetable, and additive, and version three adds some new features including a new harmonic oscillator, 64 new wavetables, four new FX including pitch shift delay and a new type of flanger, a modelled Jupiter-8 filter from Arturia’s V Collection clone and new FX and filter routing.
Arturia has also added new in-app tutorials for new users to get the most out of the ultra-powerful synth. There are also 200 new presets for new and experienced users alike to get stuck into the plugin.
Existing features in Pigments include four sound engines that can be mixed and matched, with a click-and-drag modulation system, meaning any source can be a modulator and an advanced sequencer with polyrhythms and arpeggiators.
