Klein, Tim Hecker and Vladislav Delay announced for Berlin Atonal’s Metabolic Rift concert series
The exhibition and concert series, which also features performances from Space Afrika, Flora Yin-Wong and Caterina Barbieri, kicks off this weekend.
Berlin Atonal has announced the full line-up for its upcoming Metabolic Rift concert series, which is set to take place across September and October in Berlin’s Kraftwerk.
The concert programme will run alongside an “(un)guided” exhibition-tour through a series of site-specific audiovisual installations at the former power plant-turned-venue. The exhibition opens on Saturday (25 September) and will run until 30 October.
The series launches on Sunday (26 September) with opening show from Tim Hecker and Ziúr. Actress and LABOUR will perform on 30 September. They’ll be joined at the venue by Flora Yin-Wong and Laila Sakini, with the pair debuting a new collaborative project at the event. The likes of Vladislav Delay, Space Afrika, Moritz von Oswald Trio and Laurel Halo will head to the Kraftwerk complex in October. Other highlights include a concert featuring Caterina Barbieri, Bendik Giske and Nkisi on 21 October.
The series will conclude on 30 October with Klein, Shackleton and Wacław Zimpel, in association with Unsound Festival.
