NFT Art Berlin opens at Kraftwerk today
NFT Art Berlin launches today (6 April) and runs until 23 April.
The event is presented by Bright Moments, a Decentralised Autonomous Organisation (DAO) that specialises in NFT art galleries, bringing together live minting experiences with cultural moments. After hosting live experiences at Venice Beach, Dubai and New York, Bright Moments heads to Kraftwerk today for its latest NFT gallery. The 10-day programme will combine digital art with electronic music, creating a live minting experience that will result in the creation of 2,000 new NFTs over the course of the event. The programme forms part of Bright Moments’ Berlin Collection.
For each day, an internationally recognised artist will offer 100 unreleased NFTs to be minted by special guests. These will be displayed in a gallery, and the exhibition will be paired with performances.
Artists booked to soundtrack the gallery experience include Cheng NWSH, Vivian Koch, Bristol’s Yushh, Pussy Riot and more. Event-goers can also expect to hear sets from the likes of Moritz von Oswald, Peder Mannerfeld and Pär Grindvik as Aasthma, and Neon Chambers (Kangding Ray and Sigha).
Alongside the Berlin Collection, Bright Moments will present the Icon Series, which will preserve moments of cultural history via one-off NFTs. Philip Glass and Robert Wilson’s opera, Einstein on the Beach, will be preserved as part of the series.
