Edwards’ death was confirmed by representatives to the BBC yesterday. His mother, Brenda Edwards, shared a statement to Loose Women today revealing that her son had died from a “sudden illness”.
The SBTV founder was born in Luton, west London, in 1990. He later moved to Acton where he attended Acton High School and Ealing Green College – a part of West College London. There, he studied for an Extended Diploma in Creative Media Production. He stayed in contact with the college and last visited in 2019.
Since his passing, Karen Redhead OBE, Principal and CEO of the college, has described Edwards as “an inspiration to the whole West London College community”.
