Archival and new Aphex Twin merch sold online by Unified Goods
Unified Goods has launched a collection of Aphex Twin items online.
The collection features a range of archival and new merch, from a 1998 Windowlicker calendar to Wire and NME magazine covers released in the 90s and 00s. The capsule collection was launched in celebration of AFX’s 50th birthday, which was on 18 August.
The line includes releases on vinyl and cassette, alongside DVD collections, such as a three-disc set on the works of Chris Cunningham, Michel Gondry and Spike Jonze. The clothing section features a range of caps and vintage Warp Records shirts. There’s also various merch items such as a 2005 Chris Cunningham Rubber Johnny bookmark and art prints. Some of the items have already sold out.
In March, Aphex Twin collaborated with UK-based tech startup ODDSound to launch MTS-ESP, a microtuning system for DAWs. In that same month, AFX also sold the digital artwork afx//weirdcore/blockscanner as a NFT. It was created with longtime collaborator and visual artist Weirdcore.
