Armin van Buuren & Lilly Palmer Unleash ‘Ayi Giri / Dopamine Machine’ EP
Armin van Buuren and Lilly Palmer have officially joined forces for the first time, releasing a new double-single titled ‘Ayi Giri / Dopamine Machine’. This two-track package follows months of anticipation after the pair first teased the collaboration during a surprise B2B set at the Amsterdam Dance Event last year.
Instead of playing it safe, the duo leans into peak-time pressure, delivering extended versions designed specifically for dark rooms and late-night warehouse sets. The release showcases a compelling contrast in production styles: Armin’s sharp, controlled technical precision meets Lilly’s harder-edged, high-intensity techno approach, resulting in two tracks built for maximum momentum.
The double-single reflects a rapidly growing creative connection between the two artists. In a statement to Beatportal, Lilly Palmer noted, “From the very first moment, the energy with Armin just clicked and felt meant to be. Getting signed to Armada, releasing the ‘Blah Blah Blah’ remix, our b2b sets, and the now-legendary Face2Face at Ushuaïa Ibiza turned into a journey that was pure fire.”
Notably, Palmer confirmed that ‘Ayi Giri’ will also appear on her upcoming studio album, signaling that this collaboration is more than just a one-off studio link-up. As both artists continue to push techno deeper into their live performances, ‘Ayi Giri / Dopamine Machine’ stands as a bold, direct statement of intent.
