BackRoad Gee drops new mixtape, ‘Reporting Live (From The Back Of The Roads)’: Listen

BackRoad Gee has dropped his debut mixtape, ‘Reporting Live (From The Back of the Roads)’. Stream it below. 

It’s the London artist’s first new full-length project since 2020’s album, ‘Mukta vs Mukta’, and features a slew of high-profile names in the credits, including JME, Stefflon Don, BG, Lethal Bizzle, Ms. Banks, Pa Salieu, Nissi, NSG, and Olamide. 

“After almost two years of hard work, blood, sweat & tears (literally), I can say I’ve had some of the craziest life changes which makes this mixtape mean so much to me. If you know me personally, this music and energy I give you is me from my heart. It’s not a job I go to or an identity I put on,” Gee said of the mixtape. 

The release has landed towards the end of the huge 2021 for the MC. From tracks such as ‘Party Popper’ and ‘A ‘Yo’ and appearances on Pa Salieu’s smash hit ‘My Family‘,  to sets at Reading and Leeds festivals and an appearance during Burna Boy’s headline show at London’s O2.
