Bishop Nehru to play Bristol’s Trinity Centre

Bishop Nehru is heading to the West Country.

The prolific New York rapper and producer will venture to Bristol’s Trinity Centre for a headline show on 26 March.

Nehru shot to fame in the early 2010s with mixtapes such as Nehruvia and strictlyFLOWz. The former – his debut release – featured production from famed hip-hop producers such as DJ Premier and Madlib, as well as Nehru’s mentor MF DOOM. Nehru and DOOM also collaborated on a joint project entitled NehruvianDOOM, released in 2014. The former Crack Magazine cover star was tapped for production duties on Nehru’s 2018 full-length solo debut, Elevators: Act 1 & II. Kaytranada also produced on the record.

2020 saw the release of two Nehru projects: Nehruvia: My Disregarded Thoughts and Nehruvian Tuesdays, Vol. 1. A smattering of singles, including New Tulips and BOY!, arrived in 2021.
