Dizzee Rascal to perform alongside the Outlook Orchestra at Crystal Palace

Dizzee Rascal will perform an open air concert alongside the Outlook Orchestra this summer.

After laying dormant for more than a decade, London’s Crystal Palace Bowl will be brought back to life with a series of concerts this summer with a month-long music and arts event: South Facing Festival.

Taking place throughout mid and late August, the festival will kick off on Saturday 14th August with a performance from legendary London-born MC, Dizzee Rascal, alongside the 20-piece Outlook Orchestra.

Other shows will feature Mike Skinner and The Streets, with Max Richter also slated for a concert later in the month.

According to an Instagram post from the newly-revived Crystal Palace Bowl, South Facing festival “intends to deliver a highly sustainable event series. Challenging targets, focusing on every aspect of the event delivery from supply chain to audience experience to travel, will help achieve as close to net neutral impact by 2024.”

Tickets go on sale on Monday 16th March. You can sign up for pre-sale here, and check out the full line-up below.
