Halcyon Sound Vol. 1

A large number of artists have launched their own labels after reaching a certain level in their career, and that step has definitely come for bass pioneer Oolacile, who just launched his fresh new label Halcyon. With releases on huge labels such as SMOG, Never Say Die, and Disciple as well as support from the likes of 12th Planet, Kill the Noise, Flux Pavilion and many more bass music legends, Oolacile is undoubtedly more than ready to take on the role of label-head, and is unleashing a debut Halcyon Sound Vol 1 compilation in order to prepare listeners for what’s coming in the near future.

Halcyon is launched in collaboration with the founder of renowned Riddim label Bewildered Productions, and this new compilation couldn’t be a better example of what the two are up to. Spanning over 8 tracks, it features bangers from mainstays such as Svdden Death and Leotrix to newcomers such as Phonon and CRIPPLINGG, and couldn’t be a better introduction to what Oolacile is aiming to do: take the emerging genre of Future Riddim to the next level.
