Intonal Festival announces Space Afrika and Hiro Kone for 2022
The Swedish festival returns to Malmö this April.
Intonal Festival has made its first line-up announcement for 2022. This year’s festival will take place in the Swedish city of Malmö on 20-24 April. Much like previous editions, the forthcoming event will offer an illuminating programme of electronic and experimental music, with a number of exclusive commissions and world premieres also in store.
Hiro Kone, Vincent Bahar and Japanese duo WaqWaq Kingdom are among the artists locked in for world premiere performances at the festival. Elsewhere, the likes of DJ Bone and Grouper – whose appearance at the event was unveiled late last year – will also head to Malmö this spring. John T Gast, Nkisi, Fulu Miziki and ambient outliers Space Afrika were also named in the first wave of artist announcements.
Head to the Intonal website for tickets, and lock in to a Hiro Kone Sunday Mix below.
