Junction 2 announces new location and 2022 dates

The house and techno event will now take place from 18-19 June at Trent Park in north London.

Junction 2, which previously announced the likes of Avalon Emerson, Yu Su, Jon Hopkins and Four Tet for the upcoming edition, is relocating to a new home for 2022. This year’s festival was due to take place on the Jubilee Bank Holiday weekend (3-4 June) at Boston Manor Park. However, due to Covid-related redevelopment work at Boston Manor Park, Junction 2 will now head to Trent Park in north London for its first event since 2019. The majority of the original line-up will play at the 2022 edition.

The Saturday (18 June) will feature Rival Consoles, Eclair Fifi, Four Tet, Avalon Emerson and Willow. The Sunday (19 June) will have a more techno-focused line-up with appearances from Blawan, Anastasia Kristensen, The Blessed Madonna and a live show from 999999999. Alongside the previously announced festival bill, more artists have been confirmed for DJ sets, such as Mount Kimbie and TSHA.

Head to the Junction 2 website for more updates on the festival’s relocation, tickets and line-up. Listen back to a b2b set from Yu Su and Optimo, shared as part of our Transmission to Tisno series, below.
