Kendrick Lamar to headline Glastonbury 2022

Glastonbury Festival returns for the first time in two years.

Kendrick Lamar is set to make his Glastonbury Festival debut this coming June. He had previously been among the headliners on the 2020 bill before the festival was cancelled due to Covid-19. Paul McCartney and Olivia Rodrigo have also been announced as headline acts for the 2022 edition.

Other artists set to make their debut at the festival include Turnstile, Yves Tumor, Phoebe Bridgers and TLC. Previous Crack Magazine cover star Kacey Musgraves is also set to perform, as are Pet Shop Boys and Lorde.

The 2022 bill also features Charli XCX, Caroline Polachek, Billie Eilish, Megan Thee Stallion and Doja Cat. The festival’s commitment toward gender parity is reflected in their line-up for this summer.

“It really is so exciting to be back. And it feels like we all need it.” Emily Eavis shared, “Everywhere I go, people tell me how much they’re looking forward to the festival’s return and how they’ve all been waiting for it. This will be our first Glastonbury for three years. It’s the biggest buildup we’ve ever had!”

Glastonbury Festival takes place from 22 to 26 June following a two year hiatus as a result of the pandemic. Revisit our Collections cover story with Charli XCX here.
