KMRU, Avtomat and Zöe Mc Pherson contribute to new SHAPE platform mix series
Hosted by Berlin’s CTM Festival, the collaborative series features exclusive mixes from SHAPE platform artists.
A new SHAPE-themed mix series has been launched in collaboration with CTM Festival. A number of artists involved with SHAPE – the Creative Europe-funded platform for innovative music and audiovisual art from Europe – feature in the new series.
Oramics member Avtomat and Berlin-based multimedia artist Zoë Mc Pherson are among the artists who have contributed to the project, which launched earlier this week. The likes of KMRU, Audrey Chen, Hüma Utku and Pak Yan Lau have also contributed mixes. Sentient_1, a music duo comprised of Angolan bass producer Nazar and sound artist Shapednoise, also feature.
Within their mixes, the artists explore tracks and sounds that are currently inspiring their work as well as original compositions. Alongside this, each mix is accompanied by a short interview conducted by Borshch Magazine’s Mariana Berezovska.
