Martyn and 3024 to release new compilation with artists from mentoring programme
3024, the label run by Martyn and Jeroen Erosie, is to release a three-part compilation showcasing music by artists from the label’s mentorship programme.
The scheme was launched early in the COVID-19 pandemic, and offered developing producers monthly group sessions to exchange ideas, as well as a personalised curriculum. “It’s become a vibrant community of producers, DJs and radio makers exchanging ideas and creative energy,” says the label.
The three-part ‘It Was Always There’ series will be released over the course of this summer, and the first instalment, out on July 16th, takes in nine tracks. Among them are tracks on the drum & bass and 80-90 BPM spectrum by CCL and White Transit Van, as well as techno from ADG, Sobolik and others.
You can listen to three tracks from the compilation, ahead of the full release, below.
